Fifteen

Sorry about the late post, everyone. This week we...

...attended an orchestra assembly.

...began our study of the solar system in science.

...began a secret holiday art project that you may see in a couple of weeks.

...had less homework--sorry about that for those of you who were missing the math and reading portions of Tuesday and Wednesday homework. I was feeling a bit under the weather this week and missed part of school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Homework will be back to normal this week.

...and celebrated Kai's birthday!

Coming up:
Polar Express Day--this has become a fun tradition in our classroom and Mrs. Boman's classroom to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday. Students (and teachers!) come to school in the pjs, we read the story and do lots of fun learning activities. At the end of the day, each student receives a "ticket" to ride the Polar Express and watch the movie while sipping hot chocolate. This is a really fun day for all involved and will either take place on Dec. 19th or 20th (Thursday or Friday before Christmas break).
